I plugged in the bottom of the iJet to the iPod or iPhone and keep the remote in your pocket and on my motorcycle and can control my iPod remotely or my iPhone remotely!! They are powerful, easily working over a hundred feet away from your iPod, weather resistant, and reliable. One fatal flaw all the competitors remotes seem to suffer from is a tendency for the things to send the volume of your iPod all the way up to full loud or all the way back down to full low when you only wanted to nudge it up or down a notch.
