This remote works well with the iPod Touch 3G. All the buttons are fully compatible, though you'll need to read the directions to use the playlist feature. The iPod receiver is small and fits easily without hindering the auxiliary cable and has pass-through charging capability, which worked well without causing audio interference. The remote is also small and fit securely on my steering wheel. This version, which costs more, allows the remote to be removed and placed on an included armband. That way the remote can be used while walking or on a home stereo, without losing it. I tried it across my living room, and it controlled the iPod without problems. (If the iPod goes into stand-by mode, it is sometimes necessary to push a button once to get the iPod's attention and a 2nd time for it to perform the button's action.)br /br /Suggestions for the future: lighted buttons for nighttime use and an indicator to show whether or not shuffle mode is on.br /br /Overall, highly recommended.
